Sigh

You pick your battles.  At the moment I'm keeping my mouth shut as two student workers (who really are being quite good by being there, since it is spring break) discuss "old English."   Apparently, they think  the works of Shakespeare and the King James Bible are written in Old English. 

Now, if I were a nice woman, I would tell them they are going to seriously fail their mid-term for the English course, if that's what they think is old English.  But, meh, it probably will do them more good if they fail the mid-term.  It will teach them that they actually need to read their textbooks and anthologies.
