Pet peeve time again
May. 9th, 2008 01:14 pmI know, I know, I keep circling back to this one. But please, please, if you don't have to use the handicap door-opener, don't use it!
Other than sheer laziness, I can't see why otherwise completely healthy* people use them. It certainly isn't a time saver as it's faster to open the door under one's own strength than waiting for the mechanism to open it.
*If your arms and hands are full, then I'll cut you some slack, since people around here are about as helpful as tree stumps, and even then at least tree stumps make nifty seats some times.
