Skating The Edge of Reason

I so love older anime.  Some of the situations that pop up are just so…so…so, well so peculiar.  Not that they don’t turn up in more recent anime, but for some reason the older anime just makes them much more interesting.  For example, I recently watch an episode of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (1972), the proper title’s something like Science Ninja Team Emergency, or Critical Moment for the Science Ninja Team, however you want to translate it.  One of the characters, my favorite, does something incredibly stupid: he saves a puppy.
