Good dream
Okay, I had a good dream last night. I dreamt I woke up due to a "thump" of the sort that usually means my cat has gotten into something/knocked something over/etc. So I did what I usually do: grab my flashlight and determine whether Pippin's gotten into something dangerous, or something I don't want him damaging, and if it's neither I just go back to sleep. Well, there's my robe, on the floor, by the side of my bed, all balled up and squirming like Pippin's gotten himself all wrapped up in it. So I picked the bundle up off the floor and started to undo the tangle Pippin has gotten himself into. Then I heard faint crunching noises, just like the ones Pippin makes when he's eating. I swing the flashlight over to the foodbowl and yes, there is Pippin eating his midnight meal. So, I wonder, just what cat is squirming away in my arms? Well, just then the cat has managed to get his head out of the robe. It's a black kitty with big green eyes and his shockingly pink tongue just peeking out of his mouth. It's Loki, my cat who died last year, and he has a look his face like "Who else did you think it would be, you silly woman, now get me out of this robe." Well, I untangle him, hug and cuddle him, and hear his rather loud and distinct purr (Loki had purr that could almost literally be heard all through the house.) He eventually wriggled away from me and hopped down to the floor, and went straight over to Pippin, and snuggled up to him the way cats do when they're being affectionate with one another. But then he walks right through Pippin and starts exploring the room, which makes sense since I had rearranged it since he died. I just decided to go back to sleep.
Then I woke up. It's just that I loved Loki so much and it hurt so much when I had to put him to sleep, that this dream just made me feel so happy.

And obviously, he approves of Pippin too. ;)
Love you!
